I’m so glad I found a telehealth option—working with Dr. Leslie Sheridan at LightSpring Virtual Veterinary Care has been an outstanding experience. The virtual format has truly been a game-changer. Finding out your pet has a debilitating life-threatening disease is beyond hard. Of course I needed medical advice, but I also needed someone to compassionately put themselves in my shoes, help me process the options, all while dealing with my already grieving heart and emotional turmoil. Leslie Sheridan did just that. She made me feel like we were talking about OUR dog. Of course, my dog’s treatment
was up to me, and, thanks to Dr. Sheridan, i knew all the risk and probable outcomes and just exactly what day to day might look like. Knowledge is power. Not only did I feel empowered to do what was best for my dog, i felt like Doctor Sheridan walked with me.
In the same compassionate vein, i can’t say enough about virtual care. It was everything to me that we did not have to
move my dog or put her through any of the anxiety or pain that came with going to the vet.
